Along with the Specials, Madness were one of the leading bands of the late-'70s ska revival that swept the U.

In my case the discs were pretty much flat - a little off centre on a least one side of each disc (but only a little) and generally very quiet where it mattered. Includes professional reproductions of the black and white picture and 2 press release sheets for this release. Being released for the first time on vinyl (180gram heavyweight) the album includes the singles ‘Lovestruck’ and ‘Johnny The Horse’, as well as the fan favourite ‘Drip Fed Fred’, which features Ian Dury not long before he passed away. Image shows the back and front of the sleeve for illustrative purposes, it is just a standard sleeve, not a gatefold.

I've noticed this newer records also have thicker cardboard and a stronger spine than the old records, a nice touch that should help avoid your new records ending up old and battered like your parents records (if they're anything like my mum's albums anyway! The Madness, originally released in May 1988, is the only album recorded by Suggs, Chas Smash, Chrissy Boy and Lee Thompson of Madness. Outer sleeve and vinyl are in near mint condition but the thin paper of the picture inner sleeve has split down one edge and partially split on the opposite edge. VG+ condition, vinyl has a couple of light marks but nothing too notable, sleeve has a word written in biro top left and a date written in biro on the back.
