Description

Moore and Campbell's autopsy on the emaciated corpse of the Ripper myth has divulged a deeply disturbing yet undeniably captivating masterpiece. In the morning, the house owner removes the rope, and you tumble along with everyone else to a jumbled awakening on the floor.

Before we go too far we have to mention the amazing art by Eddie Campbell, matching the scope and passion of Moore's enthralling epic conception. Features include: Re-presents the entire From Hell comic book series, including the prologue and epilogue; the maps showing the sites of the murders; Appendix I (Annotations to the Chapters) and Appendix II (Dance of the Gull Catchers) Rare Imported Hardcover is bagged and will be carefully / securely packaged then shipped via USPS Priority Mail to ensure that it arrives to you perfectly and quickly. His solution and the subsequent police, media and local reactions are perfectly captured by the rest of the story as it unfolds. Do Gull's ritualistic killings have a hand in the formation of Hitler's sadistic, power-hungry mentality?

From Hell es una reinterpretación más de los asesinatos de whitechapel de otoño de 1888, ¿otra búsqueda más de la identidad de Jack el destripador? For example, the character Johnny Depp plays in the movie version is in actuality an amalgam of three different characters from the original book -- a policeman, a psychic, and a crazed opium addict -- not to mention that in the book, these three characters are supposed to not like each other, with personalities that naturally clash against the other two. That in itself is all well and good and even realistic (except for the fact that the Queen probably would have had a different way of dealing with something like this), but all the Masonic bits, the visions of the future etc were too trippy for me. Con multitud de trazos visibles para dar "color", cuerpo o profundidad a diferentes partes de la viñeta con el uso únicamente del blanco y el negro. This book is not only a retelling of the Jack the Ripper crimes, but it is also a tour guide to Victorian London, it has social commentary on the rights of women and the rigid thinking associated with the Victorians. Gull's experiences seem to confirm this: he has visions of the 20th century during the murders, and as he is dying he experiences, and appears to influence, past and future events. Die anderen Morde sind dann letztlich nur Variationen des bereits Gezeigten, ohne noch groß überraschen zu können. This isn´t just about the detailed, very graphic slaughtering of Jacks´victims, it´s a big conspiracy theory overkill too. Yet one of the most moving aspects of Moore’s book is his detailed presentation of the day-to-day lives of these women: their comradeship and their recreations, their fears and hopes for the future.
